NIVARA

Nivara at Marshcourt

Nivara's first permanent location is Marshcourt, an extraordinary house built from the chalk beneath its own 1,200-acre organic estate and set high above the River Test in the Hampshire countryside.

Entirely secluded within its surroundings, Marshcourt is just ninety minutes from London.

A week at Nivara starts on Monday afternoon and finishes after breakfast on Friday, with the weekend still ahead of you: a gentle runway back into everyday life.

Movement is at the heart of the programme — long hikes across hills and valleys, guided exercise sessions matched to your level, with steam, sauna, breathwork and massage to boost recovery.

Food is seasonal and rooted in its surroundings: fresh mineral water from the chalk-filtered source, cereals and honey from the organic farm, vegetables from the walled garden — delicious, nourishing, sparing.

Days spent outdoors and quiet evenings with fewer distractions help restore the kind of sleep many people have stopped expecting.

Throughout the week, guides help you to ensure the experience becomes a set of practices you can keep and take home.

Evenings offer nourishment of another kind. Some bring encounters with artists, scientists, musicians, writers and explorers who widen the sense of what is possible. Others belong to the place itself: fire, stars, the river and the landscape at dusk.
